Young Kyoung Song is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Institute for Basic Sciences at Chonnam National University. Her research focuses on analytical methods for microplastics and the fragmentation process of plastics. Her published paper addresses the distribution of microplastics in seawater in South Korea, the development of analytical methods for microplastics, and the rate of plastic fragmentation.
