Doctor Michelle Rodrigues

Dr. Rodrigues has expertise in pigmentary disorders, skin of colour dermatology, laser use in skin of colour and cultural humility in healthcare. She is the founder and director of Chroma Dermatology, Australia’s first dedicated dermatology centre for pigmentary disorders and skin of colour. She is Honorary Senior Lecturer at The University of Melbourne and holds academic positions at The Royal Children’s Hospital and the Skin Health Institute.

Dr. Rodrigues currently serves as the Secretary General of the Asian Society for Pigment Cell Research, is on the Global Medical Advisory for the Global Vitiligo Foundation, co-chairs the national and international relations committee of the Skin of Colour Society and is one of the Oceania Ambassadors for the 26th World Congress of Dermatology.

Dr. Rodrigues has authored multiple textbook chapters and has published over 55 manuscripts in her areas of expertise. She has delivered hundreds of lectures nationally and internationally and is passionate mentoring and teaching the doctors and dermatologists of tomorrow.
