Dr Evelyn Sage

Evelyne Sage is CNRS Research Director Emeritus at Institut Curie, Paris, FR. All along her scientific career she has been very much involved in Photobiology. She led a team on Radiation Biology at Institut Curie, deciphering the processes of DNA damage formation, DNA repair and mutagenesis induced by solar UV radiation and photosensitizers.

She has been a longstanding member of the French Society for Photobiology (SFPb), ESP since its creation, and ASP. She has been secretary, then President of SFPb, President of ESP and is IUPB secretary since 2014. She also served as Associate Editor of the ESP journal, Photochemical and Photobiological Sciences.

In recognition of her contribution to Photobiology, she received the Edna Roe Lecturer Award from IUPB and the ESP Medal. She has a long experience in organizing symposia and congress in Photobiology.
